Smashbox is launching a New Face of Smashbox contest where Models, Make-up Artists, and Photographers all get a chance to win the ultimate photo shoot @ Smashbox studios. After sifting through a majority of the photos, particularly in the Model-category, I notice a wide-range of..um..beauties...including this lovely:

As a continuation to the "NDNXTC" mentioned previously, a quote of the recent hilarious status update of RA:
"Also, to the person driving a Prius with the vanity plate "GAS HRTZ," your uppity face will hurt when I punch you in it."

Which reminded me (unfortunately, without pictures) of driving home in good ol' L-town where I found myself stopped behind a trifecta of over-privileged teenage obnoxiousness:
1. Mustang, complete with loud exhaust.
2."Make Room For Princess" license plate holder.
3."I<3GLOSS" vanity plate.

Honestly, what parent in their right mind would ever endorse this?

We’ve been messaging back and forth on fb and he’s started every message with damn. Really?

Girl: You probably won't get this till tomorrow. But i just got back from the Kings game and wanna go out, if you happen to get this gimme a call!!

Boy: Hey - damn, I just got this.....did you end up going out?

Girl: No! I had gone to the kings game with my friends who are in law school and they had a huge party the night before. Since they weren't feeling so hot, i was the only one drinking at the game. Then they dropped me off and it was way to early to go to bed. But I did :( Oh well, next time!

Boy: Damn, well call me next time! What day is your game this week? We play XXXX at 730pm

Girl: We're Thursday at 9:00pm. We play XXXX! At least we're at the field close to our places! Do you guys get Friday off? I feel like everyone gets if off except XXXX. Who do you work with at XXXX? I feel like you've told me before, but I forgot.

Boy: Damn, I didn't think XXXX had a team this year??? I did see XXXX and XXXX at Parlor though, so I guess they must.....Yeah, can't wait for Friday...first day off in forever it seems like. I was planning on going to the beach, but it is supposed to be like 60 out...no good.

Obsession is not cute

I don't think I've ever seen an overly-zealous person look cool doing anything (See also NDN XTC. Um, really?) Point being, if you over-dress or over-decorate something, you're just asking to be made fun of. More specifically, people who try to translate their obsessions to their car are mostly pathetic.

This is a real-life picture taken on our way home from lunch. Please note the side deco and mini-guns where the trunk used to be. Um, really? We get the Ultimate Clipper Fan's red/blue car, but that was given to him for free, wasn't it? How much do you want to bet this altered Star Wars car was ridiculously expensive?
